And I forgot to ask, how did you fare for Free Comic Book Day?

Oh boy, it was a great day!  I went to both shops in my town.  My main LCS opened an hour early for subscribers in good standing (people who regularly pick up their books) and could get up to 8 free comics.  So I grabbed the Marvel books, TMNT, H1 Ignition, Whedonverse, Bloodshot, Interceptor, and Punchline.  They also had a huge sale on TPBs (30% off) and back issues were $0.50 and $1.00.  They has short boxes filled with Marvel & DC (mostly modern) 1 for $30.00, 2 for $55.00, or 3 for $75.00.  There were blind bags for $20.00 that had 4 random Funkos and every 5th bag had a bonus Funko or a store gift card. So I picked up some trades: Cloak & Dagger Negative Exposure, Jessica Jones Purple Daughter, Umbrella Academy Vol.1, and Superman Red Son (this is like the 5th time I've bought this - I loan it out and never get it back).  Dug through the back issues and bought a bunch of 2005-2006 era issues of Superman, Action, Batman, Detedtive & Wonder Woman (just kinda filling holes).  Found the random issues from the Ultimate Comics era of Marvel (Ultimate Comics X-Men, Ultimates, Hawkeye, and Thor) that I needed, so now I have every book released under the Ultimate banner!

Next, went to the other shop and I was able to pick up 3 free books - Dragonfly & Dragonflyman, Grumble vs the Goon, and The Dark Age.  This shop has a great indie selection - so I picked up Sara from TKO Presents (the last one I needed from the original set of releases) Umbrella Academy Vol.2, and Postal Vol. 3. And because I bought that stuff, I was able to get a few more free books: The Tick, Spawn, and the all ages books for my niece & nephews.

Later, I went and saw this little movie called Avengers Endgame :)

That is so awesome! You always manage such a great haul, I love it!

My FCBD wasn't all that great on the day of (I didn't have a ride), but the next day, I spent about $20 bucks, including on a TPB of Suicide Squad (the Janus Directive) and a large portion of Jemm, Son of Saturn.

Definitely satisfied with my consolation prize, lol

War of the Realms (plus spin-off Giant Man) are really great. And I'm eager to read Ironheart and Naomi. Of course, Superman, Justice League, Age of X-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy are all good stuff, but that goes without saying, lol

Amazingly, my list for this week is rather tiny!
